Deepening of the study

2. Goals:

Justify clearly each choice we made for the components

3. Steps :

We were very surprised that our order of components were stopped by school's project manager because of accountant issues (difficulties to order in Germany a serial Dongle 1.2 Qualified). The starter kit for PIC were refused beacause there was already one in the school.

So we couldn't start studying communication between components. But we decided to prepare a clear and precize documents to convince teachers that each of our choice were justified.

We justified the order of the starter kit for PIC by the fact that currently the school only has two similar products for 3 teams, and that the development for communication on the kit was one of our first goal. Moreover the current kits doesn't have a USB plug that could be necessary if we decided to start to develop the communication with a USB dongle once the RS232 were totaly supervised.

Due to problem for shipping products that are not avaiaable in France, we decided to search a dongle with the best compromise between Bluetooth Qualification ,avaiability & characteristics. We finaly succeed to ship the Brain Boxes RS232 Adaptator.

Gregory decided to start the redaction of a document that presnts every layer and his function.

We all speaks together with M.Seuron in order to be agree of the project goal : supervised all communication parts between devices (barecode, PIC and IAGS).

4. Conclusion :

The project is clearly defined and understood by every one. The components will be ordered beacause we manage to convince the managers.

5. Next week goals :

To start the IAGS study and the redaction of the document describing the different layers of Bluetooth.
