Bluetooth/Zigbee

Bluetooth/Zigbee

Séance du 12/05/2006

1. Topic :

  • Tests on the new firmware sent by Brainboxes
  • Work on the PIC software

2. Goals:

  • On the Brainboxes : Try to break Bluetooth connections following the steps indicated by the Brainboxes support.
  • On the development board : Manage the software written last week in order to print data on the GLCD screen.

3. Steps :

Jonathan and David made tests on the Brainboxes following the steps given by the Brainboxes support to break Bluetooth connections but they didn't succeed. The problem comes certainly from the new firmware sent. Jonathan received a call from the Brainboxes support and explained them the firmware isn't working well.

We still have problems with mikroC printing data on the GLCD but we are in good way to solve them. We asked our supervisor to buy the license because the size of our software is bigger than the license size.

We didn't have much time to work on our project because we have been asked to made a short presentation to the class on Bluetooth technology.

4. Conclusion :

We are waiting for the mikroC license which is very important now and wainting for a new firmware for the Brainbox.

5. Next week goals :

Test the totality of the PIC software.
