1. Topic :

  • Development with the PIC
  • How does the Data transmission work with IAGS

2. Goals:

  • Currently Data comming from the Bluetooth dongle to the GLCD are partially lost. We have to understand why.
  • Currently Data sent to IAGS are not received in the same Packet. We have to understand why.

3. Steps :

I talked with Aurelien, an ex IAGS Developper. He told me that my test would never work because DATA must be sent with a particular rule. He adviced me to have a look to the mobile device classes to understand this rule. For the moment I understand that before sending any data it was necessary to send the character '#'. Indeed when IAGS receive this character it indicates "Waiting for Data". I have to find more precision on the communication protocol used.

4. Conclusion :

IAGS Service Development : Jonathan I understood more details about the communication protocol, but it seems to be on a good track. In order not to loose time, I begin to develop a special function that get the information correspondig to the barcode sent to IAGS

5. Next week goals :

IAGS Service Development : Jonathan Obtain more precision on communication protocol.
